Join us for an indulgent evening of baking, decorating, and creative festive fun as you learn to bake and beautifully decorate a box of stunning Christmas cupcakes β perfect for gifting, sharing, or enjoying with a cosy hot chocolate by the tree.
During this hands-on class, youβll:
π§ Bake a batch of light, fluffy vanilla cupcakes.
βοΈ Learn professional piping techniques using buttercream and festive toppings.
π¨ Decorate your cupcakes with elegant Christmas designs β think snowflakes, holly, Christmas trees, baubles, and sparkling stars.
Our expert BKRY tutors will guide you step-by-step so you leave with six beautifully decorated cupcakes and the confidence to recreate them at home for family and friends.
π All ingredients, tools, and packaging are provided β just bring your festive spirit (and maybe a sprinkle of Christmas cheer)!

Where are the adult baking and cake decorating classes held?
All of our adult baking and cake decorating classes take place at the BKRY Academy, conveniently located above our bakery shop in Caversham, Reading. Our modern teaching kitchen is fully equipped for hands-on learning and professional instruction, providing the perfect environment for both beginner and experienced bakers.
Do I get to take home what I bake?
Absolutely! Every participant will take home their freshly baked creations or beautifully decorated cakes, carefully packaged for transport. Itβs the perfect opportunity to share your delicious results with friends and family after class.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes β there is public parking in Caversham just a short walk from BKRY Academy. Youβll find convenient options at the Waitrose and Iceland car parks, both ideal for easy access to our adult baking workshops.
Can I come with a friend or partner?
Definitely! Many of our adult baking and decorating workshops are perfect for friends, couples, and small groups. You can book multiple spots in the same session and enjoy a fun, relaxed learning experience together.
Do I need to bring anything to the class?
We provide all ingredients, equipment, and tools needed for your baking or cake decorating session. Simply bring yourself, your enthusiasm, and a bottle of water if you wish. Aprons are provided at the BKRY Academy.

Yes β our adult baking classes in Reading welcome all skill levels. Whether youβre a complete beginner or looking to improve your cake decorating techniques, our experienced tutors will guide you step-by-step in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
